Making minced meat sushi with rice


Japanese food uses many ingredients that mixed with rice causes a delicious flavor. For this reason, sushi is a food that has triumphed beyond its borders. One of these great combinations is the mix of rice with minced meat. In the following article we give you the recipe for how to make minced meat sushi in a layer of rice. Makes 2 servings.

Ingredients:

  • 2 steps.
  • 250 g minced meat.
  • 1 egg.
  • Salt.
  • Freshly ground pepper.
  • 175 g of prepared sushi rice.
  • 3/4 poultry broth.
  • 1 clove garlic.
  • 1 slice of ginger rhizome.
  • 1 bell pepper.
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil.
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley.
  • 200 ml tomato juice.
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar1 tablespoon rice vinegar.

Steps to follow to make this recipe:

  1. Peel and chop the shallots. Mix half with the minced meat and the egg, and season with salt and pepper. Form 8 balls with the mixture and cover them with the sushi rice.
  2. Line a bamboo basket with greased parchment paper and place the balls inside. Pour the broth into a tall pot. Place the basket over a mug inside the covered pot and let the balls steam for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, peel the garlic and ginger, remove the seeds from the pepper and wash it. Chop all these ingredients and fry them in the hot oil with the rest of the shallots and the parsley for 1 minute.
  4. To finish you have to mix the tomato juice with the cornstarch and sugar. Add them to the interior preparation and boil briefly. Season with rice vinegar, ketchup and salt, and serve hot with the meat balls.
