We start with a typical Catalan recipe for fish roe in vinaigrette. To prepare this tasty dish you will need very few components.

  • 1 kilo of roe.

  • ½ red pepper.
  • 1 onion.
  • Olive oil.
  • Vinegar.
  • Salt.

First you must take the kilo of roe, put salt and wrap them in a thin kitchen cloth, this is so that when you cook them they do not break. Once you have cooked them and they are cold, you must cut them into slices, arrange in a source and return to salt. Next, you can prepare the vegetables for the vinaigrette. You should cut the red pepper and onion into very small pieces. Take a bowl and put the vinegar, oil and mix everything well together with all the chopped vegetables. Then pour all the vinaigrette over the roe and let it sit in the fridge for at least 3 hours to absorb all the flavor.
