In sushi we can find temaki, nigiri, sashimi and maki. In this case we teach them to make a type of vegetable maki covered in sesame. It is a different maki since it does not contain meat or fish and it is ideal for vegetarian people. In the following article we give you the recipe for how to make vegetable ura-maki coated in sesame. For 10 pieces. Ingredients: 4 tablespoons of sesame seeds. 1 piece of cucumber (10 cm). 1/2 ripe avocado. 1 teaspoon lemon juice. 4 lettuce leaves. 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. 2 sheets of nori seaweed. 250 g of prepared sushi rice. Steps to follow to make this recipe: The first thing you have to do to prepare sesame wrapped vegetable upside down sushi is toast the sesame seeds in a pan without oil until golden brown. Put them on a plate and let them cool. Wash the cucumber, cut it in half lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut the unpeeled cucumber into strips 0.5 cm thick. Peel the avocado, cut it into strips and immediately sprinkle them with the lemon juice. Next, you have to wash the lettuce leaves and dry them. Spread half of the mayonnaise over the lettuce leaves and spread it well. Roll the sheets individually. Cover the bamboo mat with plastic wrap and place a sheet of nori seaweed on top, smooth side down. Then spread half the rice over the top with moistened hands and press hard, leaving an edge free at the top and bottom. Flip the seaweed carefully so that the rice is on top of the film. Cover the bottom end of the nori sheet with half of the remaining mayonnaise, and top with the lettuce roll, cucumber and avocado strips. Roll up the rice, the nori seaweed and the filling with the help of the bamboo mat. To finish the sushi upside down, form another roll with the remaining ingredients. Carefully coat both rolls with the sesame and cut each one into 5 equal portions.
